Discover Reynolda House
Celebrate the start of summer in the Museum’s back yard at this annual event with food and drink, games on the lawn, and art activities for grown-up kids. The Summertime Social will feature a live performance by Judy Barnes, a rock band led by classically trained vocalist and songwriter Jodi Burns. The band plays “sad songs with jokes in between, and wistful pop music with a heart of gold.”
Masterpieces from three centuries of painting and sculpture including Mary Cassatt, Frederic Church, Jacob Lawrence, Georgia O'Keeffe and Grant Wood
Located on the historic estate of Katharine and R.J. Reynolds, founder of the R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company
Blossoms will abound in the gallery and on the grounds this fall when The Artist’s Garden opens at Reynolda. This stunning exhibition tells the story of American Impressionist artists and the growing popularity of gardening as a middle-class leisure pursuit at the turn of the 20th century.
