Cinema Under the Stars returns for its 12th summer at Reynolda! This August, the expansive front lawn at Reynolda House fills with blankets, picnics, and puppies for a film experience unlike any other. 

Join us on August 10 for "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" (1968). This musical fantasy follows Caractacus Potts (Dick Van Dyke), an eccentric inventor, widower, and family man who invents a magical car that can float and fly. When Potts’ father is abducted by the evil Baron Bombast (Gert Frobe), the family embarks on a fantastical road trip to rescue grandpa. 

Gates open at 7 p.m. A special performance by the Winston-Salem Youth Flute Ensemble will start at 7:45 p.m. 

Beer and wine are available for purchase and picnicking is welcomed.  Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome. In case of rain, films are shown in the Babcock Auditorium. Film begins at dusk. Runtime 2:24; Rated G.
