Cinema Under the Stars returns for its 12th summer at Reynolda! This August, the expansive front lawn at Reynolda House fills with blankets, picnics, and puppies for a film experience unlike any other.

Join us on August 31 for "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" (2000). Loosely based on Homer's "Odyssey," this Coen Brothers masterpiece follows three escaped convicts in search for hidden treasure while a relentless lawman pursues them in 1930s Mississippi. Sprung from a chain gang, the trio is confronted by a series of strange characters--among them sirens, a cyclops, a KKK lynch mob, and a blind musical prophet.

Beer and wine are available for purchase and picnicking is welcomed.  Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome. In case of rain, films are shown in the Babcock Auditorium.  Film begins at dusk. Runtime 1:47; Rated PG-13
