Join Curator Allison Slaby and discover the world of Grant Wood through his 1936 painting “Spring Turning” depicting artist's eastern Iowa landscape. Having just returned from The Whitney Museum of American Art's exhibition "Grant Wood: American Gothic and Other Fables," this gem of Reynolda's collection is now on view in the Reception Hall.

This series on the first Wednesday of the month features Reynolda House curators, educators, and guests sharing a one-hour, in-depth look at one object—painting, print, sculpture, photograph, or decorative art object.
