Reynolda’s second century will launch with a day-long festival of art, music, and games reflecting the estate’s history as a center point for its surrounding communities. Guests will be invited to explore indoors and outdoors across the estate using the new Reynolda Revealed mobile tour, accessible as a free download on mobile phones and tablets. On the app, you’ll hear and see stories about Reynolda that will inspire you to learn about, imagine, and find meaning in important issues of the human experience—home and family, work, leisure and health, and education—that are simultaneously universal and highly individual. Performances throughout the day will provide a kaleidoscopic look back through one hundred years of art, architecture, gardens, and historical periods like the Progressive 1910s, the Roaring 20s, the War years, the relocation of Wake Forest to Winston-Salem, and the development of Reynolda as a museum of American art. The day will also be a reunion of sorts for the many families, white and black, who lived, worked, studied and played on the estate in the years before it became a home for art and history.

Reynolda House is grateful for the support of Reynolda Revealed Community Day from Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Carolinas Realty, the City of Winston-Salem, and Forsyth County.
